Head Coach: Kevin Gabrielson

Huntington Beach High School is pleased to welcome Kevin Gabrielson for his
1st year as head coach of the Oiler Wrestling Team.  Coach Gabrielson was
born in Huntington Beach and grew up in Maryland, where he was a 3 times
state high school champion.  He was also a 2 time national prep champion and
was twice a member of the high school all American wrestling team.  Coach
Gabrielson was a full scholarship athlete at North Carolina State University
where he led the Wolpack as ACC Freshman of the year.  He was named to the
NCAA All Rookie Team and was the ACC champion at 174 lbs.  Coach Gabrielson
was ranked as high as 13th in the United States while still in college.  He
graduated with a major in Sociology and a minor in Artistic Design.  Coach
Gabrielson resides in Costa Mesa, CA.
