experienced the Conference Finals with his
soccer team, competed in triathlons and
raced motocross. In college, he was award
most improved player on the water polo
team. He won the West Coast Regional
Cycling Championships and placed third at
the Collegiate Nationals. Although he
didn’t start playing competitive volleyball
until after college, his excitement for the

CBVA rating and, when time allows, continues
to play at local events.
His ability to develop new skills, along
with the desire to see his own kids excel,
has now driven him to a new passion of
coaching youth sports. Starting with soccer
and now volleyball, Angelo takes great pride
in helping others develop new skills. In
2007 he was awarded South Huntington Beach
“Coach of the Year” from AYSO. For the past
