Prerequisites: A grade of B or higher in English 2 and teacher recommendation
This is an academic class designed specifically for serious and college bound students. The class discussions, writing assignments, and regular homework stimulate high levels of critical thinking. This course is a part of the Scholar with Distinction, Scholar with Honors and Scholar with Expertise programs and meets college entrance requirements.

Prerequisites: A grade of B or higher in English honors 2 and/or teacher recommendation. Summer assignment required. Fees involved for materials.
This class is designed for students who demonstrate fluency in writing, independent study, who think critically and abstractly. Writing, American literature, listening and speaking skills and library skills are included in the curriculum. This class meets college entrance requirements and is approved for the Scholar with Distinction, Scholar with Honors and Scholar with Expertise programs.
