Students that need NO 5th/6th period stickers for ID cards: Please note that stickers will be issued in the next few weeks. In the meantime, please carry a copy of your schedule with you to show supervision staff as you leave school grounds 5th and/or 6th period.

Hey Freshmen…Feeling lost at a new school? Looking for a way to get your voice heard? Join ASB! Freshmen election packets are available starting September 10th in the Activities Office. Interested in singing the National Anthem at football games or assemblies? Come audition next Thursday, September 9th at lunch in room D3, Mrs. Woods. (End 9/8)

Attention all students wanting to be involved…we are having our first Student Senate meeting of the year this next Wednesday, September 8th during 4th period. Teachers…please select one responsible student to attend the SHORT meeting n Wednesday, September 8th at the beginning of 4th period in the Student Center. (End 9/8)

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2010

Attention all students that took a photo in the Activities Office for your ID. If you want your photo in the yearbook, you must have your picture taken on picture day, which is Monday, September 20TH st in the gym from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you do not have your photo taken that day, you will not be in the yearbook.

Are you looking for an elective this year? ROP still has courses available to get you those credits you're looking for. Come see Mrs. Mares in P4 to get signed up!! (End 9/10)

Girls…support the HB Dress Drive! If you have any semi-formal dresses you no longer want, donate them to girls across the Huntington Beach school district and help provide a memorable night at a school dance. Please drop off any lightly used or new semi-formal dresses to the donation box in the Activities Office or contact Lexi Harvey in ASB.

Students…please do not come to the Guidance Office this week for schedule changes. All necessary changes may be made next week, Tuesday through Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (End 9/3)

There will be a mandatory meeting today for anyone interested in playing Boys’ Volleyball this year. Please come to room I7 right after 4th period today. The meeting will only last about 10 minutes.

Students who are planning to take Coastline’s “History of Rock & Roll” must sign up with Ms Cadigan in P1 and fill out the appropriate paperwork. Class starts at HBHS on Wednesday, September 15th (End 9/3)

Students…if you had your ID picture taken on the first day of school in the gym, please pick up your ID card by the Activities Office next to the Student Center during tutorial, lunch and after school. (End 9/3)

Attention students…if you had Senor Stewart for Spanish last year and would like to pick up your Spanish binder, please do so by Friday, September 10th. If you do not pick up your binder, then it will be thrown away…Que lastima!

Welcome students and staff…the cafeteria is now open and ready for service from 6:45 to 8:30. Lunch service starts at 12:19. Please stop by to see all the good selection of food offered. There are lunch carts on campus also open for service. (End 9/3)

“Your Turning Neon” dance on Friday, September 3rd, from 8 to 10 p.m. Breezeway Blackout with jousting, bungee runs and tons of fun. Full stocked candy bar and drinks provided by Jaritos. Don’t miss it! $5 at the door. (End 9/3)

Be a part of the “In Crowd” – Loving Life Without Having to Party – Sober lunches. Everyday in room A21 with Ms. Salti. Make friends, plan events or hang out. (End 9/3)
