Background
I am very excited
to start another fantastic school year
as a member of the HBHS Oiler Family.
This year marks my eighth year as a high
school administrator. I moved over to
HBHS after spending two years at Ocean
View High School as the Assistant
Principal of Curriculum, and prior to
that I was an Assistant Principal of
Supervision and Testing for three years
at Grace Davis High School in Modesto,
California. I am currently serving as
Assistant Principal, Curriculum.
I earned my Bachelor of
Arts in History as well as my teaching
credential at the University of Southern
California. After teaching for a few years I
continued my education at CSU Northridge
earning a Master of Arts Degree in
Educational Administration.
I am married to an
unbelievably supportive husband, Mike, who
is also an educator as well as a coach. We
have a fun loving (and at times,
mischievous) three-year old son, and a
precious baby girl who blesses us everyday
with never ending smiles and laughter.
Outside of school, I
spend time with my family, love to travel
and cook, and I am a very enthusiastic fan
and supporter of the USC TROJANS! Please
stop by my office anytime for questions,
concerns or even just to introduce yourself.
