Educational Philosophy :

I am dedicated to helping all students reach their maximum potential through high expectations in all areas of the comprehensive high school. I have been fortunate to work in a field I truly enjoy. In over twenty five years service in public education I have met an infinite number of wonderful students, parents and teachers. The opportunity of working in two great educational systems, California and Texas, has afforded me the baseline to form my educational philosophy. All students are capable of succeeding when high expectations of behavior and high standards of learning are in place by caring professionals. I feel in my position as a school site administrator I need to serve as a student advocate to ensure individual success. One of my favorite quotes is from Mahatma Mohandas Ghandi: "Real education consists of drawing the best out of yourself."
